Summary Duties and Responsibilities: The Real Estate Development Analyst will provide administrative and project management support to the Real Estate Development team.
Essential Functions and Work Duties: The following essential functions of this position are performed personally, in cooperation with the supervisor, and/or in coordination with other staff. Additional work functions and duties may be assigned.
- Perform administrative duties and maintain the administrative infrastructure for the Real Estate Development Department, including managing and organizing department databases, document storage systems, and research databases.
- Perform market research utilizing readily available on-line tools. Develop research presentations for internal and external uses.
- Prepare and maintain pipeline and project status reports for use in managing the workflow of the department, and for reporting to the various internal boards and committees using Excel, Word and Smartsheet.
- Take minutes of meetings and facilitate communication and workflow among the Real Estate Development team, other internal department teams, and external parties, including use of Procore.
- Maintain information related to other affordable housing developers in Nevada and affordable housing projects.
- Assist the Real Estate Development team to identity land acquisition opportunities, prepare letters of intent to purchase land, assist with securing appraisals and market studies, and perform due diligence reviews of properties under contract including evaluating title report exceptions and ALTA surveys.
- Assist the Real Estate Development team in review and research of current affordable housing trends, issues, and financing sources both in Southern Nevada and nationally.
- Assist with financial feasibility analysis for development projects and update development proforma models as directed.
- Assist the Real Estate Development team with activities associated with the real estate development process, including the development of funding applications for project equity investments, grants, and loans; responses to requests for proposals; preparation of departmental presentations and meeting agendas; loan closings; and other activities.
- Assist in preparation of departmental financial projections and reports.
- Prepare and submit reports to NeighborWorks and other affordable housing organizations and governmental jurisdictions.
Other Functions and Work Duties: - Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed upon individual circumstances.
- Perform other duties as from time to time may be determined necessary for the well-being of the total operation.
- Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and accurate flow of work and information.
- Support and assist the Real Estate Development team with general administrative tasks and development processes.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, college studies or certificates in the same fields are acceptable and/or 3-5-years work experience in related fields such as paralegal, project management or real estate transactions.
